Filled With Hope

Even as Christians can lose hope in some situations. We pray and when we cannot see a way out or a way up, we can lose hope and when we lose hope it is difficult to even try to make it.

Promise Keeper


"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9

There are those that when they promise us something we do not look forward to receiving that promise ever or not any time soon, because they are not good at keep their promises. However, there are those who we can count on the promises that they make to us, if they say they are going to do something they usually do it.

More Than Enough

When someone asks us who someone is or even who we are, we will begin to describe attributes about them or us that will help describe who we are. It can be hair color or job status or where they live that will describe who someone is.

Speak Lord

There comes a time when we come to the realization that we are hearing God speak to us for the first time. In that moment it is filled with joy and fear all at the same time. To think that Almighty God would speak to us is an awe-inspiring revelation.

Worship The Lord


“Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.” Psalm 99:5

When we think about worship our thoughts go to what we do on Sunday morning in our respective Churches. We take time out one day a week and we worship The Lord who has been so good to us. The truth of the matter is that The Lord is not just good to us one day a week; every day we should have the testimony that The Lord is good.

The Greatest Gift


“And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:2 (ESV)

God has gifted all of us with gifts and graces to be used in His Kingdom so others would be blessed and drawn to Him and His love. We cannot allow the greatness of the gifts we have to be overpowered by the need to display other gifts.

A Day Of Rest


"Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed." Exodus 23:12

Sundays tends to be just another day off from whatever it is we have done during the week. Although we may have not had to work on Saturday and Sunday, some use Sunday as the day to catch up on chores around the house and do things we did not have a chance to do during the week.

The Lord Is With You

There are going to be trials and tribulations we are all going to have to face. We are going to have some good and bad days. There are going to be days when it is going to feel The Lord is with us. No matter how silent our surroundings may be, The Lord is with us.

No matter how much we try to be nice to people and do the right thing, there are going to be some people who are against us. It does not make a difference how much we follow the rules, there are going to be some things that come against us.
