The Lord Is There

Life has so many challenges that we face on a daily basis and each of us needs a time to get away from everything and everyone every now and then. Life has a way of weighing us down, and trying to escape the weight becomes difficult with each step we attempt to take. Not only do we feel like the weight of the world is on our shoulders, but we also have to deal with trouble that comes our way.

The Lord Is Watching Over You

"He cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing." Job 28:10

The Lord is always taking care of us, and He continues to keep His hand of protection and love on us. Even when we do not think The Lord is there, He is always there, watching over us both day and night. When things look and feel like they are falling apart around us The Lord is there making sure we have enough strength to make it through.

This Is Your Season

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” Ecclesiastes 3:1

As we have journeyed on the road of life, we have been able to experience some great things and some rough roads, and each of them have taught us things that are invaluable to who we are. There are times when we don't know why we are going through the things that we are going through. We pray and pray and nothing seems to change no matter how hard we pray.

Newness Of Life

“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4 (ESV)

It is no secret that each of has done some things in our past that we may not be proud of. There were some things that we have done before we had given our life to Christ that was fun to us, but it did not line up with the principles of God. We lived a life where sin was what we did, but once we gave our lives to God we walked away from some things that were not pleasing to God.

There Is None Like The Lord

“That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.” Isaiah 45:6

There is not a time or situation that we face in our lives that praising The Lord is not in order. When we realize all that The Lord has done for us, and all of the places that He has brought us to, we should be excited to praise and thank The Lord for His goodness and mercy towards us.

Consecrate Yourself

"For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves to day to the LORD, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day." Exodus 32:29

Each of us wants to experience the rich blessings of The Lord in our lives. If we had a choice being blessed would most certainly chose to be blessed. Knowing that God has shined His favor on our lives in a unique way is a blessing all within itself. Most of us can point to areas of our lives where we are being blessed by The Lord.

Put All Of Your Trust In The Lord

Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.” Psalm 62:8

As we face new seasons of our lives there are going to be many challenges that we are going to face. Despite the determination to have better days and weeks there are going to be some challenges and obstacles that we are going to have to face, but we also have to remember that there will be some challenges on the road to make us better.

Control Your Tongue

"With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God." James 3:9 (ESV)

Big things can come in small packages. It is a small chip in the midst of a computer that allows it to have to speed and memory. It is a small battery in a remote control that controls bigger devices; it is many times something small that allows something bigger to operate. There are times we overlook things because they are so small, but without that small item we could not accomplish what we needed.
