Don’t Stop Praying And Praising
"And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them." Acts 16:25
Few things are more refreshing than spending some alone time with God in prayer. In those refreshing moments of prayer is when we can just tell God all about everything that is on our hearts and minds, and never have to worry about being judged or ridiculed. We do not have to put on any airs for God, just simply tell Him what is on our hearts. It is when we pour out our hearts before God that no matter how heavy the burden may be that we were carrying, after praying we have a sense that everything is going to work out in our favor.
The Lord Will Keep His Promises
"For behold, on the stone that I have set before Joshua, on a single stone with seven eyes, I will engrave its inscription, declares the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of this land in a single day.” Zechariah 3:10 (ESV)
The Lord has promises for each of our lives. In order to get to those promises we are going to have to go through the process to receive what that The Lord has promised to us. Some times the process is easier than at other times, and when the process becomes difficult we cannot abandon the process because it becomes difficult.
The Impossible Is Possible With God
"For nothing will be impossible with God.” Luke 1:27 (ESV)
By definition the word impossible means that something is not able to occur or be done. Many times we look at things in our lives as not being able to occur or be accomplished by us, and there is no way something can happen because of the limits that we have put on ourselves to accomplish what seems impossible.
The Light Of Compassion
"Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous." Psalm 112:4
There are going to be days when feel like nothing is going right. No matter how hard we try to make things work out something happens to derail our plans. There are also some people who we will not be able to satisfy no matter what we do or say. It is in these times we have to know we have done our best and the rest we need to put in God's hand.
