Don’t Look Back

There are also some things in our past that were not that bad, and we will fondly look back at those times and if we are not careful, we will begin to relive those moments over again in our minds, and find ourselves back there more than we should be. The Lord has brought us through some things that we are grateful to be out of both good and bad, and we should remember that there are more great things The Lord has in front of us. If we are not careful, we can get stuck looking back and missing out on the great things The Lord has for us in the future. The Scripture reminds us that, Lot's wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. I encourage you today to remember that when The Lord has delivered you out of something to keep moving forward and do not look back. When The Lord brings you out of something and you are still in your right mind, thank Him and praise Him, but do not look back. When God has turned your life around, and has delivered you from some people, do not look back, but keep going knowing that The Lord has great things in store for your life. When you look back you take the chance of getting stuck in the past and missing your future. You have experienced some great things in the past, but there are greater things ahead of you, keeping looking and moving towards the blessings The Lord has in front of you, for they will be better than what is behind you. I thank God for all that I have been through, both good and bad, but I am grateful and thankful for what He has in front of me. Each day The Lord gives to me is brighter than the day before, and I know that He has more blessings in store for my life, this is why I can confidently say, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Lord thank you for all you have done in my life. Thank you for all that you have delivered me from, and I thank you for where you are leading me now. I know you have more great things in store for my life, so I will not look back, but keeping pressing forward to the blessings in my future. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
