Harvest Season

Even in our spiritual lives we start out with a little faith, then our faith grows as we trust and depend more on God. A farmer does not just simply one day go out into the field and begin to gather the crops. What he gathers is a result of what he started with and what he did with the little things he had at first. The farmer had to take a little seed and place it in the ground he had prepared so the seed would grow into something he could eventually use. God wants us to take our faith no matter how small and begin to cultivate it in His Word and watch it grow in your heart, souls, and minds. The Scripture reminds us to, sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: fit it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. I encourage you today to make sure you are in right relationship with God. When you sow and ensure you are in right relationship with God you will reap mercy. Mercy is God's unmerited favor towards you, and you need God's mercy operating in your life. When you prepare your heart, soul, and mind to receive what God has for you there will be a harvest of blessings that will grow in your life. Prepare yourself for God to do great things in your life. A field before it is cultivated is barren and does not look fit for anything, but once it is broken up and seeds has been planted it becomes something beautiful. Your situation may look and feel barren right now, but continue to prepare yourself for God to rain righteousness and blessings in your life, and when you have God's righteousness in your life; you will reap the great rewards of God. I thank God for His mercy and His righteousness in my life, and I know God is going to rain blessings untold in my life this is why I know, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Lord thank you for every blessing you have poured into my life. Thank you for allowing me to be cultivated in your Word and your way. Break up those fallow and difficult places in my life, so you can get all the glory. Use me for an example of how you bless your people who serve you. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
