Carry Your Cross
While we may not know what struggles others may have, we do know that God knows how much we can handle, and we must pick up our cross and follow Him. The Scripture reminds us that Jesus told the people and His disciples, that whoever comes after Him must deny themselves, pick up their cross and follow Him. I encourage you today to remember that your walk with Christ is not about you, it's about following Him to the place He has for you. Each day you must deny yourself, and your thoughts on how you think things should be and follow Christ. Each day you must pick up your cross and walk in the path that The Lord has placed you on. There will be some days that your cross may seem too heavy to carry, but The Lord will not give you more than you can handle. It may not always be easy to carry your cross, but always be confident that The Lord is with you every step of the way. Today get out of your own way and follow Christ knowing that He will lead you to the right place in Him.
Thank you Lord for creating me just the way that I am. When I see flaws in me, you see perfection of your handiwork. Help me to be all that you have created me to be, so you can get glory out of me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
