Imitate God

Although we may not hear that saying as much as we used to, it is still imperative to ask ourselves are we doing what Jesus would do? The Scripture reminds us, do not imitate evil but imitate good. Whoever does good is from God; whoever does evil has not seen God. I encourage you today to be an imitator of God. As you are faced with many things today take a moment and imitate God in your actions. Remember that God is always watching and when we respond or act, we should do so to represent God in the best possible light. When you imitate God, you do what is good, but when you don’t you imitate evil and indicates you do not know God. Let your actions today show the world that you know God. I want the world to know my God and I want my actions to imitate the great God that I serve. Since I will imitate God, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Lord help me to imitate you in my thoughts, words, and actions today, so someone will know you as The Lord of their lives. Allow me to be a witness of your love, mercy, and grace. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
