Even with close friends in our lives, there comes a time when even our closest of friends cannot be there for us. However, we do have a friend that is there for us no matter what it is we are going through, and that friend is Jesus. The Scripture reminds us that, He calls us not servants; because the servant does not know what his lord does: but He has called us friends for all things He has heard of His Father He has made know to us. I encourage you today to remember that you have a friend that is concerned about you. There is not a thing that you can go through that your friend Jesus is not there with you. There is not a trial that you face that He will not walk you through, and all that He has heard from His Father He has spoken to you. When trouble comes you know the Father will be there for you. When storms come your way, you are confident that you are going to make it through the storm because your friend whose Father controls the storms has spoken to you and has told you it will work out in your favor. Since you are no longer a servant, but a friend of God, you know that The Lord will be with you through it all, and that is what true friendship is all about. I am grateful that I have a true friend that is with me through it all, and keeps me through it all. Since Jesus is my friend indeed, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Lord thank you for being my friend. Thank you for always being with me through my good and bad days. Thank you for always being by my side. Thank you for calling me your friend. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
