Many of us have found our encouragement in the Word of God, and it is because of that encouragement we made it through some difficult situations. Just as much as we want and need to be encouraged, we also should be encouraging to others. The Scripture reminds us to, encourage one another and build one another up, just as we are doing. I encourage you to be encouraging to those The Lord places in your path. When you see someone has fallen, encourage them to get back up again and to try again. Reminds someone that no matter how bad it looks right now, that it will get better and they can make. Build someone up today because you never know how powerful your words of encouragement can mean to someone who may be ready to give up and give in. Everyone faces situations when giving up is a possibility because the situation looks impossible, and it is in those times that they need someone who can speak a positive word in their lives, and to have them see that the impossible may not be as impossible as it looks right now. Once you see that person make it through their situation it will even give you joy knowing that The Lord used you to be a blessing to someone. No matter how deep the valley or how high the mountain you can make it through it and over it, just keep going and trust The Lord. I have made up my mind that I will be an encourager, because The Lord has sent people my way to encourage me. Since I will help build people up and not tear them down, I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Lord help me to encourage others today. Help me to remind them of your goodness and mercy you have towards us. Thank you Lord for sending encouragement my way, when I needed it the most. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
