Focus On The Assignment
However, in the eighth round Ali came back and knocked George Foreman out to win the championship. Ali was taking punches for most of the fight, but he shook it all off and overcame the punches and won the fight. There are going to be times in life when we are going to be taking punch after punch, but we must learn to shake it off and remember that The Lord is with us. The Scripture reminds us that, if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town. I encourage you today to shake off the dust of some of the things that have happened in your past. Shake off the ridicule and the pain and keep walking in the path that The Lord has given to you, and you will have victory. It will not be easy, and you may want to give up, but shake off that feeling of giving up, and allow The Lord to give you strength to keep standing. No matter how bad the assaults may be, I am going to shake it off, and keep walking in the light of The Lord. Since I will shake it off and be who God has called me to be, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord help me to shake off everything that is not from you or for me. Let my focus be on pleasing you and giving your name all the glory, honor, and praise. Help me to shake off those things that are not needed in my life. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
