Pray For Others
We also, know people who are in need of our prayers daily. We all have somebody who does not know what this great gift of salvation is, and we should pray for them. We each know someone who is going through a difficult times and they need someone to pray for them. They will see us going to Church and Bible study, they hear the wonderful testimonies of what is going on in our Church, and they wonder if God can do the same thing for them, and they can feel like they are in their situation all by themselves and, nobody cares not even God. Ezekiel reminds us in this Scripture that God was looking for someone to stand in the gap for the land, but could not find anyone. I encourage you today to stand in the gap for someone you know who needs prayer. Yes, pray for yourself and the things going on in your life, but today really stand in the gap for someone else, pray sincerely for them. Don't just simply mention their name in a passing in prayer, but earnestly go to God for them asking God to do for them what needs to be done in their lives. If you are saved it is because somebody stood in the gap for you, and now you have to stand in the gap for somebody else. When you stand in the gap for someone else you also will be blessed because you put your faith into action and prayed for them, believing that God could bless their lives. Who will you stand in the gap for today? As I seek the Lord in prayer today, I will pray for those who I know are going through some challenging times in their lives, knowing that God can turn it around from them. Since I will continue to stand in the gap for others I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Lord thank you for all you have done for me. I ask you today to bless and keep those who need a touch of your healing, delivering, and loving hand. As someone stood in the gap for me, I stand in the gap for others. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
