Run To God
All of us has played the game hide and seek, and we tried to find the best hiding places so we would not be found. There were times when we would hide in the same place as others, but there were other times when we wanted to hide all by ourselves so we would not be found so easily. There are times when life can become so difficult that we want to run and hide all by ourselves so no one will ever be able to find us. We want to run and throw up our hands and walk away from everything and everyone; and go to the furthest expansions of earth and hide and never be found. There are even times when we want to hide from God. The Scripture reminds us, can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? Says the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? Says the Lord. I encourage you today not to hide from God, but to run to God. It does not make a difference what it is you are going through, you cannot hide from God. It does not make a difference what you have done or have not done; you cannot run or hide from God. You serve a God who is loving and kind, and He wants to embrace you, and accept you no matter what. When the troubles of life seem too much to handle and you want to run away from everyone and everything, just remember you cannot run from God, but you should run to God, for it is there you will find peace for your trials. No matter where I find myself in life, I know God is always there with and for me. I will not run or hide, because my God is so big He is where I am. Since I serve a God who is everywhere and I am running to Him not from Him I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Lord help me to run to you today. It is in you that I find everything that I need, and even if I do run and hide, Lord find me and keep me in your loving arms. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
