Good And Pleasant

Each of us at one time in our lives had to deal with a person who for whatever the reason rubbed us the wrong way. There are those on our jobs or school that for some reason or another we just find it difficult to get along with them. We try all that we know, and still we cannot find common ground. Even when we are in their presence we find that it is difficult to even be around them because of the awkwardness in the atmosphere. There are also those who no matter what we try will not like us, and we cannot even recall what we did to them or what we have said to them. It takes so much effort and energy to avoid and or ignore people, and it not only causes them discomfort, it also causes us discomfort as well.

The Scripture reminds us that, to behold how good and pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity. I encourage you today to do your best to get along with everyone. You should always show the love of Christ wherever you go and to whomever you meet. You will never be able to change anyone but yourself, so do not allow someone's attitude to dictate how you will walk in the love of The Lord, and show His love to others. When you always respond in love, then you are doing all you can do to dwell in unity. There is so much joy and peace when the children of God can well together in unity. It takes less effort and stress to show love, than it does to show hate. It may not always be easy to show the love of The Lord to those who do not like you, but remember you do not always make it easy for The Lord to love you, but He does always despite you and your actions.

No matter how anyone else lives, I will do all I can to dwell in unity with my brothers and sisters in Christ, and this is why I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer

Lord thank you for always loving me, and as I go throughout this day I will show love to those you place in my path, because it is good and pleasant when we all dwell together in unity.  In Jesus name Amen.
