Circle of Life (Seniors Ministry)
The Circle of Life Ministry encourages our seniors to engage and to participate in ministries and service projects that share the Good News of God's Love in Jesus Christ. We provide seniors opportunities for fun, fellowship, spiritual growth, service and information referrals and assistance.
Silent Workers Ministry provides programs and activities that support the Christian family and church community; by advocating educational and economic empowerment of all people.
Health Ministry provides assistance through a group of trained medical professionals to members of the congregation. They attend to any medical concerns/issues that may arise with the members during the worship services and other events. We also provide training and information on various health issues.
Bereavement Ministry provides spiritual support to persons who have experienced the loss of a loved one. We assist families move through the grief process; reassuring at all times the presence and purpose of God for strength, understanding and comfort.
Business Enterprise Ministry
Business Enerprise Ministry provides resources and information to Christian business owners to enableeffective management that aligns with God’s word.
Social Action Ministry
Social Action Ministry seeks to keep the church as a beacon of light by promoting social agendas and political concerns; sponsoring voter registration drives; providing education on civic responsibility and community involvement.
Harambee Ministry creates a forum of information services, equipping the members of our church and community with resources that will empower them and promote emotional and spiritual development. We offer relevant forums, workshops and roundtable discussions. Additionally, we provide individual counseling on social service, financial and legal issues.
Recovery Ministry provides a way to bridge the recovery world with the Christian world by developing a distinctively Christian support group. They provide a 'safe place' as well as a wonderful resource for accountability, encouragement and support.
Greater Centennial Federal Credit Union
The Greater Centennial Federal Credit Union (GCFCU) is organized to serve members and employees of the Greater Centennial A.M.E. Zion Church. As a faith-based financial institution, owned and operated by our members, GCFCU exists to meet the financial needs of its members. To meet this goal, we work diligently to increase our assets, expand our membership, make high-performing loans, offer competitive rates and provide a variety of financial services. GCFCU also strives to develop and strengthen the financial literacy of its membership and the broader community.
