Class Ministry is our small group ministry where we discuss biblical principles and life applications. Our sole purpose is to make and mature disciples. Class Ministry classes meet each night of the week, at various times and on Saturdays. The Class Leaders system is used to group the members to their classes. However, each member is not limited to that specific group. There are four facilitators to each group who assume the lead within the group. They disseminate the lesson guide with principles, at the same time fostering and cultivating a sense of togetherness amongst each other. Each class is structured to fit each of the four areas. Our motto simple shouts “Get In Where You Fit In”!!!
Description of each Leader Role:
Discipleship Leader: Creatively lead a discussion of the weekly lesson using the guidelines of the lesson outlines.
Evangelism Leader: Encourage and assist members to evangelize through the use of the lesson outline. This leader is also responsible for welcoming new members and visitors and encouraging their maturation into the life of the church.
Worship Leader: Provides prayer, hymns, songs etc at each meeting and encourage greater prayer lives through the use of the lesson outline.
Fellowship/Ministry Leader: Organizes activities of services and/or fellowship using the lesson outlines using the lesson outline as a guide.
CLASS MINISTRY Lesson This Week:
Did you know that our small group ministry ( formerly GLAD) meets each night and weekends? The phrase the “point of no return” originated in the early days of flight. Technically it is that place on a flight path where the amount of fuel remaining makes it impossible to return to the airfield of take-off. When we use that phrase in other contexts, we usually mean that we’ve reached a point where it is impractical or even impossible to turn back and start over. Jesus is the only one that has the power to bring people and things back from a point of no return! Join us this week in a session as we study John 11.
