Barnabas (Encourager) Ministry mentors new members who join the church during their series of seven new members classes and are a constant help to new members’ assimilation into the life of the church. New members/barnabas fellowships allow new members an opportunity for Christian fellowship and exchange information

Bible Institute equips the body of Christ through instruction in the scriptures, stimulates the independent, personal pursuit of reading and studying the Bible and furthers understanding of God’s divine directives for living.

Greater Centennial Summer Community Bible School spiritually inspires our children and youth to cope with the challenges of growing up in a challenged urban community through:

Responsible high school juniors, seniors and college students displaying leadership qualities assist as counselors.

New Members Class is a seven session series structured to inspire and inform members of the church in the meaning of salvation, sanctification and stewardship. The latter part of the series instructs new members in the history and traditions of the church and the African Methodist Episcopal Zion denomination. The series also offers insight into Lifestyle Stewardship As a congregation, encourages each new member to identify and develop their spiritual gifts. Upon concluding the series seven classes, new members are introduced to the congregation and extended the “Right Hand of Fellowship” by their church family.

Spiritual Gifts Inventory and Church Awareness
Stimulates the membership to investigate, discover and develop the spiritual gifts God has deposited within us all. Encourages members to be aware of the ministry of the church and to be sensitive to contribute our spiritual gifts, talents and skills to the glory of God.

Sunday School provides a setting in which the Church has the unique opportunity to reach and teach people of all ages and from all walks of life about Jesus Christ. Sunday school serves as a “connecting point” for many of the ministry efforts of the Church.
